complete noob - 22s anyone?

Let me start by admitting I'm nothing of a mechanic. Beyond putting gas in a car or changing the oil or a flat tire, I know nothing about them...

I have a 2010 Tahoe with 17" wheels.

I'm near the point of needing new tires. If I'm going to buy new tires, I'm going to go ahead and replace the 17's. I think I want 22's.

Does anyone have 22's with pics they would share? I've been searching backwards in the forum, but not finding a whole lot. I'd really appreciate it.

If I do go with 22's, what are my options for tire sizes? I'd like to keep the vehicle as close to its current height as possible, but I don't want an EXTREMELY low profile tire.

Are you lowering it or is it lowered? I have a pic in my album. There are tons on here or even go to google and type in Tahoe 22 wheels pic and you will have tons of pics to look at.

With a 22 you can still get quite a bit of sidewall due to how large the wheel wells are anyway so you should be ok...
