Complete System Pt. 2

Well kinda. I'm keeping my speakers, battery, and all the wiring but in about a month im selling all my amps, head unit, and my subs are already sold (got $50 ). Gonna be upgrading to this stuff, tell me what you think.

Alpine CDA-105 HU
3 Kicker 2010 ZX200.2 (All Door Speakers)
1 Kicker 08ZX1500.1 (Subs)
3 Kicker 2010 12" CompVR in a ported box

And if I have enough cash, probably gonna buy a ** alt too. Then il FINALLY be done with my system and be completely happy with it.

So I guess if anyone is interested in my head unit or amps (check my picture album) then shoot me a PM. I'm trying to get close to what I paid for everything because ive only been using them for about 2 weeks so they are practically brand new, especially the sub amp.

Seeing as your last kicker setup failed, I would suggest not buying this other kicker sub. Instead spend some money and get yourself a couple of kicker L7's. They're practically the twin of the W7 in power. $250. Sonicelectronix.com

Well, the only reason the other Kicker subs crapped out is because I bought them used off some punk kid who probably beat them to shit. Also they were the entry level Kickers, so not even that good to begin with. The CVR's are just the right amount of power and they will be brand new so I won't have to worry about them blowing.

Nope, nothing new. Hope to sell/order some stuff in a couple weeks though. Little bit of a change in plans. I think im going all 08 since it's way cheaper and does the same (even though I really like the look of the 2010 CVR's). Also im going with 3 150.2's for my door speakers and a 1000.1 for the subs. Should be perfect.

LOL well it's not really that I want to have 3 amps, I just need them since I have 3 sets of door speakers you know? And those little 150.2's aren't very powerful so they do the job just right.

New pics are coming for sure too. Since il have 4 amps instead of 3 im gonna have to screw the 1000.1 to the top of my box or something. Just need around $300 then I can get this all started.

Added together the cost of all I need and subtracted what I hope to get for my 2 Kicker amps and my Kenwood, and this is what it looks like:

Buy:
2 Kicker 08ZX150.2 Amps = 220
1 Kicker 08ZX1000.1 Amp = 350
3 Kicker 12" 2-Ohm CVR's + Ported Box = 300
Pair of Kicker 08KS13 Tweeters = 50
Alpine CDA-105 HU = 160
0g Big 3 = 50
Labor = 150

Total: 1300

Sell:
Subs = 50 (Sold)
Kenwood HU = 160
Kicker 08ZX750.1 = 260
Kicker 08ZX650.4 = 230

Total: 700

So it looks like im gonna be pushing $1500+ including labor. Not very happy with that considering I was hoping this system would cost me under 1k. Oh well, atleast il be happy and it will last me untill the death of this truck. So it looks like im gonna need $600 before im gonna start selling my amp and head unit and get the ball rolling. If I somehow get more money im gonna see if this starter/alternator shop near my house can beef up my alt, but doubt that will happen anytime soon.

if your going with kicker run some l7's them kicker comps are cheapo's

and thats WAY too much money for a cvr setup.

check out audioque.com they got some nice stuff for very nice prices i might be ordering some 15s and a few amps from them, and with 4 15s and 3 amps i was looking at around somewhere around 1100 i think (plus box and all the other goodies) but still...
