composite or sealed beam?

ok so when i get bored i like to scroll thru the older threads looking for ideas or answers to ?s ive always pondered an heres one of them i keep reading that some obs headlights wont fit on some trucks because its either composite or sealed beam out of expierence i know my 98 obs is composite because of recent headlight purchases so my ? is whats the diffrences looks performance an reason they dont fit?

sealed beams are 4 headlights. Composite is a complete headlight assembly

just for the record there is the normal work truck front end that uses the one large sealed light instead of the two smaller ones.
