We are using a touchless car wash for our '24 Yukon. Previous vehicles have all used the local wash with rotating brushes but they have created swirls in the paint. So after having the new Yukon ceramic coated we want that finish to last as long as possible. But, the touchless wash doesn't do a perfect job. You can see film on the windshield where the wiper doesn't cover after the wash. I'm sure it's the same on the paint too. Does anyone use a detail spray after a touchless wash? Any recommendations on what product will remove the film without causing swirls? Thanks!

I use TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray (Diluted) and some very good microfiber towels. My Yukon has PPF on the entire front end a complete ceramic coating.

Thanks! Is the mix on the package or something you came up with?
We had our local Ziebart dealer do the ceramic a couple weeks ago.

I would contact your Ziebart dealer with problem you're having when run thru touchless washes.

Our GMC dealer has hand car wash if customer wants which helps keeping finish scratch free.

pro tip from a professional detailer….. never run your ceramic coated vehicle through a non touchless automatic wash!

The combination of the usually VERY abrasive soaps they use, and the fact that the rotating brushes are just as abrasive, will strip your ceramic coating after only a handful of washes. Always touchless washes. I rarely use them since the water is always gross as well and never very clean but if I am driving somewhere and absolutely need to get it cleaned I will run through a touchless. I always have a small organizer box in the rear with a handful of good soft plush microfiber towels. I will towel down the truck after the wash and will use a couple products. Lucas oil slick mist detailing g spray works great. But I’ve been using P&S bead maker and it works so much better.
