Compressor always on

I notice and it pisses me off. I have no theory as to why its on. I have the digital controls.. Do you guys too?

pull the fuse and or relay...

Also, could it be on because of the rear heat/AC system?

Just to be clear - the only thing "on" when this is happening - is the heat. The rear heat/a/c is off. The recirc is NOT on. The defrost is NOT on. This is for my 2003 yukon. Im guessing lots of folks have compressors running ALL the time and simply dont realize it. Youre all getting bad mileage and this is part of the problem.

Since I've only owned my Yukon for a month, and since it's my wifes daily driver not mine, I keep forgetting to look into this. I'm gonna head into town shortly so I will check and see if mine is on all the time.
