Console Ideas

I have the center consol with remote tape deck and CD holder. As I do not have tapes or CD's to use I feel like this is wasted space. Has anyone done anything custom with their outdated equipment? I was thinking of remove it it and building some kind of more useful storage space. Or looking for a model with different option that might suit my uses better. Thanks in advance.

Mine is an 07 Denali and it’s just an empty box. I’ve seen guys add usb charging ports in it and other nicnacks like phone holders and even heated and cooled units for the cup holders

There are several custom consoles on here you'll just have to go search for them. Can't think of any topics in particular right now.
I've seen tons of things done with the consoles from top to bottom though.
