In my 2021 Yukon Denali the screen behind the steering wheel is almost always asking me to change the battery in my key fob. I have a single key fob in the car, and this happens even if I've just put a fresh battery in. I've tried a couple different brands, including a Duracell 2450 3V battery. But I keep getting this message.

Any tips on what exact battery model/brand works best and a source to buy it?

Welcome to the forum from Virginia. Is your rig still under warranty? Obviously they won’t replace a battery but maybe it’s a different issue? If not I’d go with the original battery size. I’ve had good success with Energizer.

Sounds like the issue is within the fob itself. Replace if still under warranty, or go to a local locksmith and purchase a new fob at a reasonable price.

I had the same issue with some knockoff batteries I bought on amazon. Bought a 5-pack and replaced the battery twice before buying a single Duracell and trashing the knockoffs. Haven't had a problem since.
