i really hop the rear suspension spring are still strong and perky cause the only way to fix that is new springs. cant use suspension air shock or bags on a 2dr.

Wow, nice truck! That's a good deal too, if it runs and drives. Congrats.
I bought a 99 2dr Tahoe last October. I've cussed at it. I've busted a lot of knuckles on it. I've rebuilt all the front end suspension, put in a lower manifold gasket to fix a nasty and well - documented leak, had various electrical issues and creaks and vibrations that I can't identify.
You know what? I'd do it all over again because this truck is freaking awesome and fun to drive.
My wife is convinced it's a mid-life crisis. Whatever. I'm happy. ☺

Just relax and enjoy your new ride without over thinking it. You'll be working on it for certain, just accept that, but it'll be a labor of love.

Good price! Bought mine new. I've got 276k on mine and all is good, yes tranny too! My seat is now running slow and need to replace motor.
Throttle spacer, chip, true dual exhaust 2 1/2", cam and lifters changed. TBI remains stock, cold air intake. Use to be one of the quicker SUVs around in the 90s. Some time will change to a LS motor.
EGR replced once this year 2016 June
Heater motor replaced x2
Actuator 4x4 replaced once
Still has stock headlights
Fuel pump replaced at 100k (was working, just worried it might go since heading to Cali for a long trip)
Add a leaf to rear in 1994 when it was new (they sway a bit in our canyons at 80mph) and boat tongue heavy.
Rotors have replaced or turned about every 3 yrs. why idk. I'm not a wild driver but have heard I'm not only one with this issue.
No u-joints yet....
Ball joints done once
Tensioner once
Water pump 2 weeks ago started leaking.
So really nothing major since 1994
