Id say Get a Coolant system pressure tester and make it 100% certain if its leaking there. Plus it could show if its leaking anywhere else

Replace, last thing you want is that patch coming off on a road trip or middle of winter/ etc etc.

So can someone shoot me a link off eBay? Looks like there's a few options. I don't do anything but drive this to and from work. Also it it possible to just replace the end cap? Mechanic suggested that?

Can I do this myself?

Replace. Repairs like that usually get worse and then you'll end up replacing it anyways.
