I read that Dexcool is rotting out the inside of the cooling system, is that true ? I have a 2014 Tahoe with 48000 on it and had to replace the radiator . Just wondering if that was the case with mine. It was leaking from where the fins meet the tanks.

no, there was a issue years ago with some of the gaskets used by gm that the coolant would deteriorate over time the problem was found and the gasket material was changed so the problem does not occur, you are good to go.
sounds like you just had a bad radiator

Can anyone provide pics of a bad radiator? Common cracks? I'm not losing coolant fast but does seem to be going somewhere and I'm still on original radiator at 210k miles.

they can crack almost anywhere but the good news is coolant is a fluid and it will flow down because of gravity so the best way to find the source of your leak is to get under the truck with a flashlight and look up. You will want to check all underneath the radiator area, under the water pump, and primarily under the passenger side engine area where the heater hoses go and reservoir sits and along the passenger side firewall where the heater hoses "T" off to the rear and into the heater core. radiator can leak, water pump can leak, heater hose can leak, reservoir can leak and the "T" connectors can leak. coolant leaks anywhere else are pretty rare.

Not always, but typically the reason a plastic/aluminum radiator cracks at the tanks is that if the coolant is low and then driven to operating temp, the super heated steam above the coolant is way hotter than the actual coolant and the crack is caused. It has been my experience that most cracks are near the top of the tank where that super heated steam would be. The tanks made now be made of a different material and has addressed this but I am talking about back a few years.

Nothing wrong with dexcool,, Just like ANY coolant, it should be changed
MORE OFTEN than the mfrs and most people think.
It touches and affects more components than you think
