Hello All -

I'm having an issue where my cooled seat fan(s) is/are very noisy on the driver's side. (Passenger is OK/normal)

It almost sounds as if something is stuck in the fan or air-stream.

Because I sometimes would rather do things myself, has anyone successfully removed the back panel of the seats? I don't want to pull too hard and/or break something but would like to inspect myself before bringing it in. My assumption is I'll get the normal "operating normally" response anyway.

Thoughts?

Mine is loud as well on high only though. My seat back actually broke off and I took a peak. Operating as designed.

They apparently are replacing the blower motor and finally admitted that it was too noisy (after initially saying it was "normal").

I'll let you know how it turned out. Again, passenger sounded OK so I didn't feel too bad about making a stink about this.

Did you get this fixed? Mine was fine for the first 6 weeks or so... and now it sounds a lot louder... like there is something wrong with the bearings...

I'm wondering how long it took for them to get the part...

Motor replace in the driver's seat and the noise is gone. *shrug* Hopefully it'll last.
