Cooling Fan Operation

I am having an issue with the cooling fans kicking on immediately at cold start up. The vehicle has sat all night in the garage, approximate temp of 50-70 degrees. I assume its a temp sensor somewhere that is sending a signal to fire them up. The engine is operating at normal temperature after warm up and there is NO check engine warning light coming on at any point.

Thoughts are appreciated.

Is the AC or defrost on? This runs the compressor and thus, will make the fans run.

Excellent point! I don't think so but I didn't think to look at the time to be honest.

I had a similar concern about my fan always seeming to be running, but never realized the AC being on is a factor and I do run that more than most people would.... gonna test that tomorrow.

I wired a LED to my fans and installed it in my pillar/gauge pod so i Know when my fans turn on. They do turn on with AC and defrost.
