I have a 2004 hoe with the Flex Fuel motor. Well the other night on my way home my low fuel light came on. So i was just like ill try $20 of the corn fuel. Has anyone had any experience with the E85. Good vs. Bad. I have heard like you get worst gas mileage. I am just curious what other people opinions. Thanks a bunch

definatly worse gas milage. But I have always wondered since its a 105 octane, could BB tune the motor to run on that and add like an insane amount of power?

Depending on the time of year and where you live, the rating will be different. It can have anywhere from the low to high 70's in percentage of ethanol added. Seems like such a waste of time to mess with that stuff.

check with the guy that does your stocks on this, but when I had my 06 yukon (which was a flexfuel, my new one isnt) I got close to 1500 back on my taxes for having a flex fuel vehicle.

i don't think you can claim it on your taxes. i asked my accountant friend and he had looked it up and said it didn't qualify. this was for my 04 tahoe ff.

Maybe its because I own a business, but I did claim it on my taxes and have the papers to prove I got that money back.
