that article is for hybrid vehicles....and these are flex fuel so i think they are different

flex fuel vehicle would fall under alternative fuel motor vehicles, where hybrids fall as well.

E85 is a great fuel. It is about 25% less efficient than regular gas but 30%+ less expensive so cost/mileage it's pretty much a wash. It's cheaper but you fill up more, I spend just about the same dollar amount each week I just have to get gas twice on E85 instead of once with reg gas. Whats great is it's 105 octane and I really can feel the difference at the pedal. I have been running it forcabout six months and only use regular gas for toad trips so I don't have to fill up as much(and its not available very many places out here). IMO if you have a FF vehicle you shoukd give it a try, financially it's basically a wash, you get more power, and while it's "green" qualities are certainly debateable what's not is that using E85 can reduce our dependance on foreign oil......

actually many articles have proven that the process of making corn fuel uses just as much fuel as all of our cars running dyno fuel so its also a wash. But I agree the power is awesome.
