I just bought this yesterday. Its an 04 GMC Yukon SLT. It has the 6 disc deck. First question. Does this radio do XM? Second The pic of the CD is Constantly flashing. and when I go to CD it just says initiating. or something along those lines. Does this mean it is broken? Thanks for the help.

i believe that for that year you would have 2 antennas on your roof. one for xm and one for onstar. that should be an easy way to find out. also the xm tuner is located behind the glovebox to the right. as far as the cd goes it sounds like it is indeed broken.

6-disc is broken along with probably 80% (conservative estimate) of the other vehicles that use the same radio. You can get it rebuilt but I would go for something better.
Idk what I want to get I was looking at a parrot hands free unit I like the look of the factory deck. I put a double din nav unit in the ex's focus and I had to trim the bezel l, needless to say I'm not a fit and finish guy and I had to buy a new bezel. Is there trimming required to instal a double din nav in this?
