Couple of questions about 08 Tahoe

I searched and did not see anything on either of my questions, so I am hoping some of you can shed some light on a few things.

1. My truck has a rough idle. Not in neutral, but in drive with the brake on, like at a light. If I drop it in neutral, it goes away. I can only assume this is a low RPM setting, and that it could probably be fixed with a flash from the dealer, but was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Only other thing I could think of is that the truck is going into V4 mode, but I would expect it to be much MUCH more discreet than what I am feeling.

2. This one is weird. The clock on my NAV doesn't show up...pretty much ever. Had not seen it even once until last night on my way home, it was in the right hand corner, where it should be. Today? Nada. What's up with that??

3. Will the SLP resonator delete and tips void my warranty??

The answer to 3 is no. Btw, nothing can void an entire warranty, it can only void the elements affected by a modification, and the dealer has to provide proof that the mod caused a warrantied part's failure. Deleting a resonator and adding the proper tip for the engine size have no affect on mechanical parts, they are an aesthetic and auditory mod.

Since your truck is under warranty the answer to no 1 is there's obviously something wrong with the nav unit ... if that's the case the dealer has to replace it free of charge. If your truck only has the powertrain warranty left then you might have to live with it or find a used nav unit as a replacement.

Thank you ^^. I actually just found a TSB (08-08-44-002) about the clock. Apparently it does this when there is an MP3 CD loaded. Weird, but apparently there is a software fix for it.

Love it!! Just ordered mine. I was going to buy this, but its kinda pricey (http://www.jcwhitney.com/dual-split...ems/p2006403.jcwx?filterid=c15817d334y2008j1#). Has anyone seen this installed by any chance? I like the dual opposite side tips, I must admit.
