How do you like the HID highs? I did mine last week and am not too happy with them. They are super bright but I do not like not having instant light.

I like the high beams, but yes it is not instant. But you can wire it so the Low beams and the fog lights stay on as well. Then there is no light loss. Also i have the stock Tail Lights but with LED bulbs in them and they are tinted. I will get some day time pictures.

Definitely post more pics when you get a chance!

I did the 4 high mod today and it works great. I tried to do the 6 high, but my fogs were coming on with the highs even if the switch was off. I didn't like that cause one of my fogs is loose and it goes out when I hit I just ordered new HIDs for my lows, fogs, reverse, and DRLs. Once I put them in I will probably do the 6 high mod again.

The 4 high mod definitely helps but I miss being able to blind someone with my highs if they cut me off!

edit: Are your front lights tinted too?

Adzam you ordered LEDS for the DRLS and Reverse the HIDS are for the lows fogs, correct? Also if you do happen to get turn signals you will need LED resistors or a LM487 LED Flasher, LEDLight.com sells the one I purchased and it works great ( only need if you do turn signals not DRLS and Reverse ). My front lights are not tinted actually the inside of the lense is black. This is what I purchased: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-0...essories&fits=Model:Tahoe&hash=item27b3ebac44

I like those lights a lot. They look really good! Thanks for the tip on the LED turn signals!

I currently have 8000k HIDs in my lows and fogs and 4300k in my highs. I ordered DDM 55w 8000k HIDs for my lows, and 35w 6000k for the fogs, reverse, and DRLs. HIDs might be too much for the DRLs, but I am going to try it out and see how it is. I might drop those down to 25w. I desperately need HID reverse lights because I cant see when backing up. I have 20% tint over the factory tint and double 20 on the front windows. Once I get the new HIDs in I am going to change my windshield from 50% to 35%.
