Hey guys. Just ordered the LT style center console for the wife's Tahoe and now I need to figure out what to go with the woodgrain. Being that it is black on black, I am leaning towards either a matte black (which I have in a 3m scotchprint vehicle wrap material) or a metallic black brushed or dark grey brushed vinyl. I am not a huge carbon fiber fan and would like something a bit different. I am going to try a couple pieces hopefully tonight in the matte and see how it looks. Does anyone have pics of the entire interior finished with a matte black? I'll get some pics up when I can, too.

Piece of cake. Thanks to a couple old posts I found on TYF, I had the woodgrain parts pulled off, cleaned and wrapped with 3M Scotchprint Matte Black vinyl in about 2 hours. Waiting to get the entire interior detailed next week before I take some pics. Definitely gets 2 thumbs up with no woodgrain now visible. Next step...de-mold and de-rack.

Just a couple cell phone pics I took this morning but it gets the idea across. I will take some nice pics with the DSRL next week after it is detailed.

The first pic isn't mine but is exactly what it looked like before wrapping the woodgrain and also swapping out the useless LTZ middle console for the larger bin version with the dual cup holders.

For the few dollars of vinyl (actual free as my supplier sent me a sample sheet) and a couple hours of my time it took, I am more than happy with the end result. I am now looking at doing a few other vehicles for customers of mine (I own and run my own tinting business). Just throwing this out there, but what would you guys be willing to pay to have this done to your vehicle?. I really don't know where to begin as far as pricing goes. Dash kits on-line go from anywhere from $150 to over $450...ouch!
