I bought a set of used 305/40/22 a few years back for $150, rode them for a little over a year and then sold them for $200!

Also got decent deals on brand new 22" tires ($450), 24s with good tires ($700), silverado 20s with good tires ($700), HD hood, escalade rack, etc.

Patience is key!

one more deal over the weekend. this guy texed and wanted help with getting the rear of his where mine was so i got with him and looked at it, all he needed to do was cut 1/2 a coil off his 6" springs and he wanted to install helper bags. well the payment he was willing to give for me to do this for him was some djm lca with shocks, he installed them and changed his mind on them so he took them off same day. well saturday i went to a friends with him and cut his coils and installed the bags and sure enough, he was good to his word and got the set up. freakin sweet!!!!
