Went on a nice 4x4 trip today to the West Desert. Got in some pretty rocky terrain, couldn't miss hitting a rock or two. Got back and got under it to check for damage. Hit the crossmember in front of the gas tank and put a nice bend in it. Just wanted to know what you guys would do. Should I drop the tank and try pounding it back with my 12 pound sledge, just leave it which could backfire if I sell it, or grind the rivets off and get a replacement from the junk yard? Pics included.

I wouldn't worry about it.

That's what I was thinking. Don't plan on selling anytime soon anyway.

What frame damage??

They consider crossmembers as frame damage. They love totaling my vehicles for stupid shit so I most likely won't go that route. Once they totaled my work truck when somebody broke the latches off the utility bed doors. But now that I think of it I won't take that truck anywhere near that ****** shop so I'll delete that option.
