Good day All,

I am new here, I just bought 2007 Tahoe LS, 105K mile on it.
The car is nice so far :).

Since I got the car cruise control never works. The light in the wheel turn ON but nothing on the dash. tried that so many times.

Anyway, reading this forum last night, then I decide to play with the break switch.

This morning, I just check the break switch underneath brake pads and it looks to me is loos for some how, i don't know if that how it should be. I move it a little up and down disconnect the cable reconnected again, then I turn the car on.

Nothing change but I got more problems.
The shift refuse to move even when I tap on the break pad, then finally I got it moved to "D" , then I got more light on the dash except cruise control :(
I got "ABS" and "Service traction control" and "service stabilitrak" what the heck !!! after drive the car for a ride then turn it off and On again the light is turn off and the messages are disappear, then when I drive the car the lights does on again.

what should I do, anyone with same experience can help please :Handshake:

Attached is a picture for what I think is the break switch

sounds like its broken.

take to dealer, or mechanic with tech II

thanks for your advice, I will visit them soon, the problem is I don't trust my dealer anymore, 3 weeks ago my friends take my car to then to check the brake pad and they just re service the Hub without changing the pads itself, no the car is shaking whenever I push the brake pad !! I think they should change it at that time better than pay twice for the same problem :(

Just came from the dealer, we are scheduling for next Tuesday doing the following

1- Change internal chrome door handles for free :)
2- Rechecking the brake hub and pads, since they do it last time and same problem still exist.
3- change the brake switch
4- Install remote starter kit.

that's it so far, will keep you posted
