I have a 1999 GMC Yukon . My cruise control has died , what do I check? Thanks.

1st check all taillights working, 2nd- trailer connector works all pins. 3rd- brake light switch works, 4th- upullit for new cruize box on firewall by brake booster. Or scan with tech 2.

I recently changed my Multifunction Switch (Turnsignal Switch) because of the constant ticking noise. My cruise control had not worked for about 5 years. Cruise Control is now operational again.
