What I have noticed is that everytime I have cruise control on and I hit a pothole in the road it automatically deactivates. Maybe this is whats happening.

i started noticing it a few weeks ago...whenever i start to go up a hill or something and it has to accelerate a little it wants to stop working, but as soon as i turn it back on it works again

Thank you for that information. Did you take a look at the thread that llllljrlllll posted? It looks like that could be a possible solution. If not, have you been to your local dealership to confirm the issue?

If you are over the bumper to bumper warranty, the dealer wont help you, so might as well replace it.
