My 1999 Yukon cruse control drops when I start up hill and reset button doesn't pick it back up when this happens. Any ideas?

Vacuum leak? Are those older ones still vacuum controlled?

Probably need a new module but cold be a couple other things. I picked up a used module on eBay for about $40 a while back.
