Cutting rear coils??

i've been told that if you put the springs in a bucket of water up to the point to be cut ,it will keep the rest of the spring from heating up . thus keeping the ride basicaly the same.

all you need to do is use a 4 inch cut off wheel takes 18 to cut. Then you flatten edges. on the 5305 coil (belltech 5 inch) you can cut off 1 loop get one more inch and no change in ride.
