So I had my 2/3 drop (on 26's) completed yesterday. The rubbing situation has made me almost hate my truck. its to the point that I dont even want to drive it around town. The interstate is my only escape from the grinding.

SO I want to know what you guys have done to trim, cut, shape, mold - whatever - to your fender wells. Pics would be HUGE

I have 3/4 drop with 24s no rubbing at all, but when I had my past 07 Tahoe it rubbed alot because I bought cast wheels with generic not specfic offsets (close but not perfect offset).

Weird how you have bad rubbing. I have a 3/5 on 305/30/26 and +35 offset and pretty much had to pull the wheel liner.
I bet your offset is what is giving you trouble.

I think your right - its the offset. I am going to remove the liners and see what that can do for me. If not Im going to have to take it to a body shop and have them trim out the fender. Do you think I will ever be able to get full lock again? I feel like ive lost all driveability.

Tony: I think there 295/25/26 but i still have to go check. The ride is just like stock over the bumps. I love the stance too.

There is no way they are 295/25/26! If they were, it would most likely not rub at all, even with a +25 offset. Probably 295/30/26.
But Pirelli is known to make good riding tires due to the soft rubber compounds they are made of, and the only 295/25/26 is Pirelli, so just maybe it is.

May I know the tire size, wheel size and offset are you are running? Thanks!

The offset is usually imprinted on the back of the wheel. It will be a 2 digit number like 13, 50 etc.
