I have a 09 yukon and my cv axle on the drivers side is bad and want to replace it. Has anyone had any experience on doing this and what i would need

This is a pretty straight forward project. Will likely need a breaker bar to loosen the nut on the spline shaft. After that take out the 6 bolts that attach to the output shaft of your front diff and remove. For the new one, make sure you torque every thing to spec. Told recall those specs off the top of my head.

Just did this job a few months ago. Only thing ya prob don’t have if ya already have a basic socket and wrench set is a 36mm socket for the end of the shaft.
