I sprayed the carb cleaner today and the rpms did not jump but i definitely noticed an increase and the leak seemed to get quieter as i sprayed the intake. I am going to do all the gaskets on the intake. While I do this I am going to check my injectors. Any ideas on how I can clean them if I take them out? Can I soak them in something? I am really having issues wrapping my head around this misfire. I cannot figure out what to do to fix it.

Sorry for late reply, been on xmas break and went to Florida for a week! :)

If rpm's increased that is a good chance of being leaky gasket. With the injectors I would first just take a peek at em and see if they have deposits and what not. If they are "dirty" I think a little soak in seafoam or a mix 50/50 gas and seafoam run through em should clean em up. Also maybe consider doing the updated spider injectors if funds allow it while its all torn apart.

Also, what are you reading your DTC with? If you can look at a freeze frame data of all the sensor inputs of when the code was thrown that can possibly help find the misfire cause.

Is it leaking between the upper intake and lower, or the lower intake, or both?
If you pull the lower intake the dizzy has to come out, it also needs to be set with a scanner. (if you get it close you will be fine) Just something to keep in mind.

I would be ready to replace injectors if you are going to take them out.
When I did my wifes some of the tabs on the old injectors were already broken off, I broke a few more being easy trying to get them out. Just old and ready to be done. Think my truck is going to be done in spring, still has stock injectors.

Anyway here is stock (single injector, whole thing updated) Updated is a much better setup.
