I tested the wires with a multimeter and just for fun tested it by grounding the plug after you mentioned it. She fires.Something like this would verify that you are indeed getting spark.

Swapping parts would be of no benefit if the wiring providing the power or signal to the coil pack were the problem.... or something further up stream.
Hell even a screw driver stuck in the end of the plug wire and held close to ground will work.
