Hello everyone. Just another day in the midwest. O lets see..New motor is in and running great just 1 issue. MY MF RADIATOR IS DRIPPING FROM SOMEWHERE. Man. Took off fan shroud and looked at it. Seems to be some kind of leak or something on the lower corner near the drain plug. Hard to see these from underneath so most of my observations have been from top view. Dont think its the plug leaking. Anyone had this issue ? what can I do? New radiator is like 235 just for the radiator. Help me out here b4 I drive my hoe clean thru the nearset law enforcement building...lmao j/k

Get an all aluminum one off of ebay....or become proficient with JBWeld lol. Seriously though, if you can get to it and clean it, JBweld will hold for a long time.

looks to me like its a plastic tank on the radiator? That seems kinda cheap to me if Id say. Chevy didnt do us any favors with that...Anyone go with another style other than OE?

Yes, I have an all aluminum one that I got off of eBay. It has aluminum tanks instead of the el-cheapo plastic ones and they cost the same as a plastic replacement. The two core is a drop in fit, but if you get the 3 core like I got, you have to trim the rubber mounts and hold your mouth a certain way to get it into place. Be aware if you go that route, you'll need to retain the stock radiator cap and pick up a new metal hose clamp for the overflow line.

if your gonna get a new radiator you can get one for a 91 3/4 ton 4wd truck. its a 2 core that measures 34x17 1/4 and its about 75 bucks cheaper at most places. Im having the same dilemma, efans never kicked on with temp sensor while trying to seafoam and sprang a leak behing trans line fitting. If your looking for a temp fix those stop leak tablets will buy you some time
