Dash cracks?

Anyone have this problem? I have a big crack in the middle left to right. I was trying to find a molded plastic dashcover, but I couldn't find one for a 1997. Coverlay MFG makes them but for the 95-96 only. I guess I could put an ugly carpet one up there.

I belive it wil work only if you dont have the airbag in your passenger side.

95 did not come with airbags.
96 was optional.
97 onward had airbags.

So yeah, sounds like that Coverlay cover is for the dash without the airbag.

That says 97 but is like a 95-96

LoL I don't remember the dates correctly then. 96 and 97 might of been optional. I know in 98 passengers airbags were mandated in the States.

95 and 96 have the cup holders on the passenger side with no airbag...97 comes with passanger side airbag

Yeah that makes sense now that I look at it. I sold my 96 last week, and picked up a 97 over the weekend.

Mines cracked in two spots has anyone here seen one installed? Seems too easy wonder if it looks good or like junk?

I wish I could trade out my no airbag one with one with an airbag. The cupholders are completely useless if you decide to move the car.
