Dash not working

So today my wife got into our 2010 denali and when she started it the only thing the dash that was working was the battery guage.

She turned it off and started it back up and it works again. But because of the way that I am I want to fix it before it becomes a bigger problem.

Has anyone had or seen this before. If so what did you do to fix it.

I am still baffled on why it did it, but it has not happened since that day.

just happen yesterday to me in the garage , did a restart no change, took it for a drive and restart now is back to normal.
