Dash Shakes - 99 Kon

My entire dash assembly shakes. It shakes violently enough that the cup holders cannot be used. Happens even on smooth road while traveling normally; got an alignment, new tires and it shakes like a methed out rhino.

Where are the supports for the dash or what else causes this?

Both, but the dash independently and much more so. Even when truck is running smooth, any bump in the road will cause the dash to have a seizure.

Wait, so those three shit screws are an integral part of the entire dash support? What a bunch of idiots...

I think Im already screwed cause at least two of them are already broken and the other has a crack going from the cluster bezel all the way to the screw.

Maybe Ill try to HomeDepot something.

LMC has had that for years thats where I got mine its made by the same company too, but great product if you dont have major dash issues

the top screws help support it to mount to the fire wall but not structure load. bigger bolt on either side of dash bar underneath. and yeah lmc has had those support fingers for a while now.

Fabbed up little strips of metal using vise-grips and a Dremel. Also had little rubber anti-skid stickers I had placed on the the side which contacts the upper dash. Thing is solid as a rock now!

Well follow mine is extremely noisy!
