So I got my 35w 6000k H13s (comes with the harness relay for the hi/lo bulbs) in after it took forever for them to arrive from CHINA... Do the install on my Yukon Denali.

First problem, the wire from the harness to my - terminal is way too short, it reaches with my air box out but it won't reach once I put the air box back in. I will have to extend that in order to put my air box back in. Regardless of that, I did the install anyway (everything is connected, but with no slack to go above/under/around the air box when its back in)

Here's where the real trouble sets in. Everything on the passenger side works.

But nothing on the driver side works. I tried:

-switching the polarity on the ballast
-swapping out ballasts (tried 3 different ones since I ordered the fogs too)
-putting the driver bulb into the passenger side- it works

So what could possibly be wrong?? I am going to call DDM tomorrow afternoon... But damn after spending 2 hours in the garage sneezing my butt off with allergies I am pissed!!!! Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe a bad relay harness but then why would the passenger side work??

The worst part is its not like I could even just go with the passenger light working, since the - wire isn't long enough! I can't drive the damn thing with it plugged in and no air box!

Should've listened to my ricer integra friend and ordered of eBay.. His work fine :emotions122:

If you have a voltmeter you should check to see if the harness is actually providing power to the ballast on the driver side. That should tell you at least how far up or down the power supply line the issue lies.

As a side note, I have a similar issue on the passenger side on my girlfriend's car that I installed a DDM hi/lo kit in.

Every DDM kit I have ever installed that is just lows has worked just fine, but sounds like maybe there is an issue with their hi/lo kits.
