DDM HID wiring question

I just got the DDM 35W 6000K set for my 2008 LTZ, do I need the relay wiring harness too? What is the advantage of using the relay?

You don't need it. I have the same kit and haven't had any issues with mine. I guess it's for back-up just because there's a bit more current draw going through that they supply a thicker gauge harness.

I didn't need the harness on mine. I'd think if you were going 55w or doing multiple sets it may be needed but not with 35w lows only.
