Received a nice little package today from DDM Tuning, have been waiting for these for awhile now (with there backordering issues).

Contents include:

35W 6000K Slim-Ballast Raptors (Lows)
55W 8000K Slim-Ballast Raptors (Highs)

Installed these today in my new DEPO Chrome Projectors .. and I LOVE IT. Took the Hoe for a drive in the park (absolutely no lights down there, pitch black) .. it was like driving in day time .. unbelievable. DDM Tuning .. you have one very satisfied customer here.

did you already do the 4 hi mod? Crucial with the start up time on the highs. Love mine too.

Yep .. followed the instructions on here for disabling the Auto-Switch. The 4 hi mod was already done long ago.

Yes, did notice the delay in regards to the highs warming up to full brightness, however, is it normal for there to be like a real quick flash (like a flash on a camera) right when you turn either one of them on .. lows or high ?

Cool man.. I want to get some for my highs. You didn't have to order the wiring harness did you?

Yes, the flash is normal. Don't sweat it.

No .. harness was not needed. I had read between this forum and others that for the trucks it would not be needed.

LOL .. until I can find a better set of fog lights (instead of the plastic crap that is on the Hoe) .. I'm not going to even think about it.

Would be better is there was a exact replacement out there that were thicker in the base plastics and maybe a thicker lense, either glass or plastic.

Biggest problem I have with them, condensation (water) .. I have sealled these damn things now about 5 times only to find out I have blown another bulb and theres a puddle of water on the bottom of the fog housing.

this is what exactly happened to my fog lights, I've gone trough to sets of HID's and it's a pita, how do you go about sealing them, put them on the oven and let the silicone come apart, then pull them out and resealed them ? if so how hot and how much do you leave them on there and what type of silicone do you use ? thanks in advance
