2002 Tahoe LS 5.3 Flex 243,000 Miles
Alright, here's exactly what happened: I was driving down the highway, and pushed the rear wiper switch in to squirt fluid. The wiper took one full sweep to the driver side, and froze. I tried turning it off and on, blah blah blah, but it stayed stuck. pushing the switch still squirted fluid out though. I pulled off into a gas station, and tried to fiddle with it more, but it wasn't going anywhere. As I started pumping gas, it slowly began to go back down, but all jittery and weird. I helped it down, and from then on it hasn't worked at all.
I have seen a lot of posts saying the motor is often not the problem, which due to the sudden death, I kind of believe, so is there a good way to check wiring issues and figure out if the motor is bad or not? I'd love to be sure it's bad before I go buy a new motor only to find it doesn't fix the issue.
Also, how hard is it to get the rear door panel off, which I assume I will have to do?
