How're you bros all doing tonight? I'm doing ******* great, because I just had an idea. I've been wanting to tear the old nasty trim off of the 'hoe soon, but now I have a better idea. Once I realized that the molding serves as an important little piece to guard your paint if you open your door like a ******* into something, I figure I gotta have something there, but I can't stand what's on there now.

SO... I am going to tear all this molding off, chip the flaking parts away, and repaint all of the little pieces of trim with either a flat black, or a DIY bed liner! I don't think I've seen anybody else do this, so I'm excited to do something original. I'm even going to pull the "Chevrolet Tahoe" logo off of the back and paint that bad boy. And the word 'tahoe' on the back and the '1500' on either side I'll paint in a different color. You guys think it'll turn out cool? Any thoughts, suggestions on how to do this a little bit differently?

Anyway, here's some pics of step 1: the debadge. After school today I didn't have time to really get any logos off, but I did manage to pull that hideous 'chrome' fender trim off... and I love it! I think it's looking cleaner and meaner already. What do you guys think?

P.S., maybe I should call this my 'rebadge' project x)

Mine came all debadged except on the grille. I wanted to get the NNBS badging and stick that onto my Hoe. Looks like a great set up with flat black. A lot of Jeeps guys did that to their cladding.

that was one of the first thing i did with my truck was remove the fender trim, it was ugly and beat up anyways, plus it looks so much cleaner without it

I pulled mine off loooong ago. I've seen bed linered lower panels before, usually body colored so it blends in nice. It's different that's for sure.
