I just debadged my 2004 Yukon this weekend and after I was done you could still see the outline of the Yukon and the GMC logo. What do I use to get this off? I used a product from turtle wax but it all still isn't gone

If your talking in the paint and not glue residue then you need to hit it with buffing compound, then polish, then wax. Thats what I did on mine

Kinda off topic...when I bought my 'new to me' Tahoe, the T from the 'LT' was missing, so I decided to remove them, came off fairly easy after using a heat gun and dental floss. Then I tried to remove the residue with an eraser wheel, but it just started chipping the clear coat off! Anybody run into this? I debadged my black truck using the eraser wheel and had no problems. WTF?
