I have an 04 6.0 AWD Escalade looking for a trans filter & gasket kit, looked up by vin and one says with deep transmission pan, is there anyway to tell if it came from the factory with a deep pan?

I have a 08 but far as I understand it, deep pans have a step in the pan. You should consider a PML pan. Holds an extra quart of fluid, finned for better cooling and has a drain plug built in.

I havnt done a service yet but its got a drain plug, no mess oil changes. Plan to do filter every other service.
I've noticed up to a 10 degree cooler difference in temp and I don't even have a trans cooler

Added bonus, that's fan art of Bruce lee on Bruce Lees actual grave
