defroster floor no air

It blows from the vents fine. When you move the position knob to defroster or floor positions no air.

and in those defroster or floor positions does it continue to blow out the forward vent are does the airflow just disappear all together?

above the gas pedal and to the right there is a motor with some linkages attach to it. with the fan on do you see any movement on those parts when you turn the mode control knob?

when you move the knob all the way to defrost mode does the freon compressor on the engine activate?

you got a voltmeter of some sort?

Yes i have a volt meter. Maybe i should check power coming into actuator.

for that actuator test the brown wire for system voltage when key is on. the black wire is the ground. also test for varying voltage on the white wire with key on as you move the mode control knob back and forth.

Tested brown wire for sys. voltage w/key on, no voltage no reading. Yes i checked the fuse, in the side of the dash.
