Delay from foot PEDAL

New to me in great condition 2012 Yukon Xl Denali. I have zero complaints about this vehicle except one bothering issue.
After a complete stop and I press accelerator there is a delay, then in the rear end it engages and hits kinda hard going forward.
Is this an adjustment I can make with a throttle wire or a TC issue or something else to check?

When did you last change your driver's side engine mount? When was the air cleaner last changed and the MAF and throttle body cleaned?

Also I would add: Does the rpm go up before said problem occurs? If not, then you probably have a dead spot on the throttle pedal or maybe a lazy throttle body......which leads back to what @swathdiver said about cleaning the TB

Your throttle body is controlled electronically rather than by a physical wire. I experience the same thing on our Explorer which is also electronically controlled. It is possible that what you are experiencing is perfectly normal. Perhaps you could try driving another 2012 to see if it behaves the same way?

Never thought to check the motor mount. I will do that. The TB was removed and thoroughly cleaned out (while replacing a spun lifter). The idle was reset while having the AFM removed through tune.
I’ll check the MAF too.

I’ll check for rpm variation

After all that work you'll def need a crank relearn procedure.
You also may just need to clean the maf, etc as well.
There is an updated pedal avail thru GM.. I did it to my 2014 when
I started getting some throttle position codes.. I cant really say it helped
noticeably , but yours may be bad/lazy. It's the whole pedal & sensor assembly.
I don't remember the part # but I found it pretty easily

You were exactly right. The driver side motor mount was toast. I bought a replacement from Advance Auto and the mounting holes would not line up. I bought OEM and lined up perfectly, just a FYI.
Now all good!!
