Hello there, well hopefully no one will go off at me for posting another thread about how to install an amp on a factory BOSE system...

I did use the search button on more then one forum, and well didn't find much on how I can install a amp on a factory BOSE system, I did find that on a 01' Denali the wires where I need to install the RCA converter would be under the drink holders?

I already took that out, and did find a lot of wires, there's 3 different connectors, one is right under the CD changer, and the 2nd one right in the middle (a little larger then the other 2 connectors) then another right next to it...

So my question is I already have the converter I need to make my RCA outputs so could someone tell me WHERE do I connect this to?

I read also that I could need to connect this AFTER the amp? and not before it... some where saying the amp was in the back of the glovebox (it's not) I found the amp in the rear part of the car right where the sub is...

Thanks for the help!

You need to connect the LOC on the output side of the stock subwoofer amp. If you use the channels that go to the mid drivers (door spkrs), you won't get the needed low frequency signals since the signal the the speakers are crossed over in the amp.

Well what is the best way, just take the wires coming out of the amp in the rear left side in the trunk?

This is not my first time installing amps or anything like that, but I'm starting to sound like a newbee.. lol

I'm use to Honda and all does cars, so this BOSE system is kicking my ass and well don't want to screw anything up... :emotions122:

Well I think I got it, I went into the amp (located in the rear left side) and located the (light blue and dark blue + yellow and brown wires) tested all of them and I get sound, so that's where I added that adapter. Just one more step to get my amp running is where would the REMOTE cable for the amp go?

You need to get amp turn on at the main ignition harness. The factory wire colors are:

Ignition- Pink
Accessory- Brown or Orange
