Just lay black vinal over the red part of the GMC lettering. It's edged in chrome and the vinal lays right in there. YOu just cover the entire thing with black vinal and then cut out the lettters with a razor blade. That's how I had mine before I went all black. It looks sweet.
Let's be honest. You don't want that entire badge and all of the edging around it black..... just the red letters.
