Denali ordering issue

hey guys, I was hoping somebody out there has experience with us. I’ve been waiting for my custom order that I placed the end of May. I contacted GMC today and this was their response today. I reached out to my sales person. I’m very confused? Does this mean my order is going to be deleted no matter what? I don’t have any problem waiting on the items that are on constraint. Has this happened to anyone before? Any advice?

I believe it means your allocation never made it past 1100 and they are moving on the 2022’s so they will likely have to re-enter it.

Your dealer did not have an allocation for your order. Without allocation your order cannot proceed. Perhaps your dealer can secure an allocation or you could try another dealer that does have allocation. Although I suspect that there aren’t many still available for MY2021.

Do dealers already have allocation for 2022 yet? I placed a deposit for the order but if they don’t have any allocation and they keep me waiting for 2 months I don’t think that’s fair. The sales person told me that the order has already been preliminary accepted by GM. Now that it can possibly be a 2022 I am probably going to be hit with a price increase. I mentioned to my sales man that since they didn’t have allocation for 2021 and now it has rolled over to 2022 it has to be re-entered. He said that’s what his sales manager thinks and they are going to contact the GM rep and let me know. I just think it’s very misleading to tell me that they have allocation and the order was preliminary accepted to find out that it’s something else
