So, I bought my 95 Yukon a few days ago from a guy I work with. I have two kids, still in car seats. The right rear seat belt buckle is, well... Gone! I asked him about it, and he said that it wouldn't release the seatbelt while his kid was strapped into it years ago, so he broke it off, and never got a new one. Ok, easy enough because I'm an automotive tech, so not only do I get killer deals on parts, but they get delivered to me at work. So first thing I did was started calling some junk yards that we do business with. Nobody could find anything. So I called the local chevy dealer, and the part number is not only discontinued, but nobody in the nation has one laying on the shelf somewhere. He gave me the part number, and I put in in the old Google search. No luck whatsoever. One of the yards called me back and said they found one, but it came with the seat bottom. I had him send it, and it was for the wrong side. It was for the 60% side, and I need the one for the 40% side. Should have known considering that belt doesn't attatch to the seat bottom, but rather to the seat back. I'm struggling, because I NEED these seat lets for my children. Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you for the advice. I checked into it, and the only availability they had was for the front seats. But I showed up to work, and our lead tech had dug through storage last night, and found some old seat belt buckles that had been ordered years ago for a mid 90s Ford F-150, that had never gotten installed, or returned. I didn't think it would work, but I gave it a shot anyway, and believe it or not it was a perfect fit. Just the right length, and the correct color as well. Had to use the factory GM bolt, due to different size, and thread pitch. But it fit great, and works properly. I guess if someone in the future is having a similar issue, and sees this post, that hopefully it will help. Thanks again for trying to point me in the right direction
