It's been a week and the new resistors are still working. However...while doing some 4-wheeling at the beach the other day, I managed to cut the air line to the left rear shock. After searching forever online, I discovered Dorman has a replacement rear air line kit for the Autoride, 949-006. It's only about $30. Back in business. And just in time- I'm a driver for the Hood-to- Coast relay this weekend and there will be 6 to 7 people in my truck.

The problem is fixed. My opinion is to buy the wirewound resistors off EBay and solder them into the front wires. The Arnott bypass resistors are unreliable. I can't believe I had to put up with that for months.
