It is outdated! They have a new scanner that works with all models now. I got a predator cheap, and resold it in a couple of weeks. Older models cannot be updated withot sending them to diablo. I didn't know this until after I got mine. So you may want to see if it is an older model or not.
I have an InTune (replaced the predator) and it's incredible. A buddy asked to drive my tahoe tonight, and was amazed at the pep it had and the hard shifts at WOT compared to his stock Avalanche.
Yeah, I have the diablo installed. I had it on my 05 Sierra and didn't really see much of anything except a slight increase in fuel economy.... but once I put it on this tahoe, it's like night and day. A lot of functionality not available on the 05 model. I tuned my TCM for hard shifts, disabled AFM, and it also has the 'fuel economy booster' tune available that I didn't have on my 05.
I installed the Diablo tune noticed better fuel economy and a bit more performance. The user manual has a section on how to download tunes from the internet. Idk I'm impressed so far. Maybe a black bear rep could talk me into one of those . I got this Diablo for free. So nothing lost
I doubt you'll find a good tune for free. Diablewtune.com is arguably the best place to have a custom tune performed. He'll work with you to get your data file, then customize everything to your liking. Nothing but fantastic comments from his tunes on several other sites.
Yea, I have spoke with him briefly on the diablo forum. I am just wondering what he can actually do. For $120 more you can get a black bear tune. I like the idea of being able to change tunes if needed that is an advantage to the intune and the fact that I got it cheap helps...
