Atomic,
Global warming can be many things, however if you have rigs that can do better and well equipped then I'm glad for you. What I'm trying to say is that if any natural disaster comes up, a lot of times, we would wish that we had a rig equipped to handle it. I grew up in Florida and moved to California so from Hurricanes to Earthquakes, I would rather have my truck a little better equipped even it's a 2WD. It's what I got and if I find a better deal on a 4WD, then I would take it. Let me tell you a few things about myself and what I had to go thru. When hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and the leeve failed, I volunteered and bought my airboat to get survivors that was on the roofs, bridges, on floating cars, and trees. I had several people tell me that they wished they had a lifted rig that could had gotten them out when their cars started to flood in. I had seen dead bodies in cars that floated that made me think about these people. As you can see, I'm not someone who's a little crazy that walk on the street screaming the whole world's gonna end. Just someone that rather be prepared and go on with his life. I'm not trying to make you feel bad with your lowered Tahoe or your opinion on having it lowered. Like I said I love the look of a lowered truck and had lowered truck before as well. My ideal for my Tahoe was a camping/hunting rig that pull boats on trails that it could do at the time with a little extra that I could use the truck when natural disaster strike. If you ever get down to California, Lemme buy you a beer and I'll be glad to share ideas with working on trucks.
