Specifically our 285/45/22? I see the new MS2 variant at $350 each...ouch.

They are also coming out with a Michelin Defender Platinum which has been getting some good reviews.

Was hoping it was a supply issue but, I guess we shall see what comes our way.

Thanks.

When Michelin introduced these Defender variants, my preferred tire size (305/50x20) did not show up on their new tire size lists. I called them and they confirmed that my preferred size tire would still be available on the original Defender LTX M/S. I was relieved, as I really like the Defender and in my preferred tire size.

They did. I found this out months ago when we had to replace tires on the wife’s ‘19 ESV as the Michelin Defender LTX M/S’s are hard to beat and almost all I’ve ran for the past 6+ years on our GM full size SUV’s.

We put the 285/45R22 M/S2’s on the wife’s ESV earlier this year. They’ve been through rain and light snow/ice in Ohio and have performed great. At no point did I think or feel they were less than the previous gen Defender LTX M/S’s.
